Nestled in the heart of Napa, Grace's Table is a vibrant New American restaurant and bistro that effortlessly blends the comfort of classic brunch fare with inventive, globally inspired dishes. Located at 1400 2nd St, this neighborhood gem draws you in with an open-air dining concept that feels as inviting as a lively family reunion—think garage door wide open, fresh air mingling with the aromas of rich spices and sizzling grill.
The culinary offerings here are a delightful journey through bold flavors and thoughtful craftsmanship. Start your meal with the Iron Skillet Cornbread served with a delicate lavender honey butter — a dish that’s buttery, moist, and subtly aromatic, perfectly balanced to riff on a southern classic. While some guests find the lavender butter an adventurous twist, the cornbread itself is universally lauded for its golden crust and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Don’t miss the Argentinean Empanada bursting with hand-cut beef, currants, olives, and a bright chimichurri sauce that dances on the palate, or the smoky-sweet Glazed Pork Belly featuring applewood-smoked kurobuta, roasted apple, and a maple pork glaze that's both indulgent and refined.
Main dishes showcase Grace's Table's commitment to elevated comfort food with global flair. The Southwest Tamale is a standout with its chipotle-pulled pork, green chili, and chili-lime slaw, delivering smoky warmth balanced by fresh cilantro dressing. For meat lovers, the succulent Kobe Flat Iron Steak & Eggs and the perfectly seared Kobe Hanger Steak Frites offer robust, juicy bites accompanied by crisp, well-seasoned fries or onion rings, which are often declared irresistible thanks to their fine chili D’Espelette-Parmesan seasoning. The House Cured Salmon Gravlax on toasted bagels introduces a delicate, silky seafood option that's complex and refreshing.
Grace's Table truly shines at brunch, with offerings like fluffy House Buttermilk Pancakes topped with local berries, and vibrant plates like the Beet Salad and the ever-popular Shrimp and Grits. The drink menu complements the food beautifully—whether it's a Virgin Bloody Mary or a bubbly Bellini, the beverages offer an uplifting, refreshing touch to your meal.
The ambiance matches the food in its inviting warmth. The open garage-style dining area creates an airy, casual vibe with plenty of natural light, while the friendly, attentive staff ensure you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Many guests appreciate how the atmosphere combines the energy of downtown Napa with an intimate, neighborhood feel, making it a perfect stop whether you're heading to wine tasting or celebrating a special occasion.
Customer experiences reflect a genuine love for Grace's Table's approach. From Alex DeMartino, who praised the cornbread and perfectly seasoned fries, to Javier Calderon, who called it a “family-owned gem” and raved about the staff's warmth and value, the consensus is clear: this is a place that delivers bold flavors with heartfelt hospitality. Even with a smaller parking area, diners find the short walk worthwhile for the satisfying meal and cozy vibe.
Whether you're craving a creative twist on brunch classics, a hearty steak, or simply a laid-back spot with a menu full of surprises, Grace's Table in Napa offers a lively, flavorful experience that feels like coming home to a feast crafted just for you.
Open air dinning area, imagine a garage work shop this the large garage door open. We got the cornbread, the burger and the pork belly. The best items were the cornbread and the fries. The lavender butter is a gimmick and was terrible. Just use some honey or regular butter if you need anything. The fries had a really good seasoning on them even if they are shoestring. The burger was ok but absolutely not with the price. The pork belly was delicious but again not worth the price.
I Dinned in Graces Table for my niece Birthday …and I’m officially obsessed! This family-owned gem on Main Street in downtown Napa feels like you’ve been invited to the warmest, tastiest family reunion ever. From the second you walk in, the staff treats you like an old friend (shoutout to Johana and the whole crew for the non-stop smiles). The food? Delicious And INSANE value for Napa. Everything is made from scratch, portions are generous, and the prices had us double-checking the menu because we couldn’t believe we were still in Napa Valley and not paying double somewhere else. Napa’s been a little quiet lately and local spots like Grace’s Table are the heart and soul of this valley. If you’re doing a wine day with your driver (hi Napa Private Tours friends ), make this your breakfast, lunch, or dinner stop. Trust me, your taste buds and your wallet will thank you. Support family-owned, support delicious, support Grace’s Table. We need more places like this to stick around! Already planning my next visit. P.S. They have a killer happy hour and the patio is perfect for people-watching with a passion fruit margarita in hand. Run, don’t walk! #GracesTableNapa #NapaValleyEats #SupportLocalNapa #FamilyOwnedAndProud #NapaPrivateToursApproved
There is limited parking nearby, but its a quick 2 block walk over to the restaurant. Inside, there are maybe 18 tables, along with a dozen or so bar seats. I was seated quickly and ordered the Kobe burger. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. I asked for the burger to be medium, but sadly it was somewhere between medium well and well done. That said, it was still fantastic. It was tender and juicy. Im a sucker for a good skinny fry and these absolutely do not disappoint. I didn't even ask for ranch!
Had an amazing lunch here on our way to our wine tasting. We got seated right away and our server was very nice to us. They had us move right after we had gotten seated to accommodate a larger party which was fine by me. They were very nice about it. We ordered the chilaquiles, burger, and corn bread (delicious!) which were all super yummy.
Best breakfast ever! Clean food, felt amazing after eating, even music is nice. Nice clean relaxing ambiance with DELICIOUS food. Highly recommend
First Timer and will definitely return. Friendly atmosphere...quaint... Staff very helpful. Butternut Quash with grated Parmesan was a nice touch. House Salad made with a light dressing was a Hit.
